Johann Joachim Kändler (1706-1775) was one of the most significant modelers at the Meissen porcelain factory. For the swan service commissioned by his patron, Count von Brühl, he developed the small figurine scene, which enriches the functional items in the form of lifts and masquerades. His works are characterized by elegant curves and light grace, representing the most complete expression of the Rococo style.
