The goal of wildlife management remains steadfast: to create and maintain a healthy wildlife population that is adapted to the area and tolerable for agriculture and forestry. It is up to the hunter to develop the wildlife population through thoughtful management according to these guidelines. However, a prerequisite is that the hunter correctly identifies and addresses the necessary and valuable individuals for building and maintaining the population.
