Understand the basics of health-promoting training! Lack of movement leads to postural errors, an impaired muscular balance, and - in combination with being overweight - to cardiovascular diseases. Physical activity provides the necessary balance to a sedentary lifestyle. However, incorrectly or unilaterally performed movements can also lead to skeletal and muscular disorders over time. Therefore, knowledgeable guidance is essential to achieve health-promoting and successful training while preventing wear and tear or overload injuries. This work, which conveys complex relationships clearly thanks to numerous colorful illustrations and concise explanations, creates optimal conditions for a successful and health-promoting training foundation applicable to all sports: basic knowledge of human anatomy.
