I recognized the Savior right away. Oh. He was no longer bloody, as he had been when he hung on the cross. No. Everything was healed now. Only the wounds remained. The ones on his hands, feet, and side. But everything else was healed. The torn and bruised skin on his back and arms, the injuries on his face, and those from the thorns on his head and the thorn in his eye. All of that was gone. And as badly as the Savior had been treated, he was now so beautiful. In this way, Therese Neumann vividly and compellingly, and at times shockingly, described what she had seen, heard, and suffered from the life of Jesus between 1926 and 1962, up to about 700 times. According to the judgment of the author Günther Schwarz, who is an outstanding expert on the entire Jesus tradition and the living conditions at the time of Jesus, her accounts are so reliable and detailed that they can withstand any historical investigation and could even serve as a screenplay for a film. Numerous details previously unknown in the Jesus tradition are highlighted and commented on by the author. Dr. Schwarz was able to draw on transcripts from the brother of Therese Neumann based on original audio recordings for the first time in this extent.
