Product details

He decided at the age of four to become a king or an artist: Alex Sadkowsky, born in 1934 with roots in Russian-Poland, is a painter, draftsman, writer, and unconventional thinker who has been a topic of conversation in Switzerland for decades. By the age of 24, he had already pursued numerous jobs alongside his artistic endeavors: jazz musician, traveling salesman for washing machines and razor blades, flat painter, Spanish teacher, and tap dancer, and even worked briefly as a prizefighter. Since then, he has created an impressive body of work that includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, objects, performances, short films, poems, and novels, which have been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries both domestically and internationally, and published by various publishers. In 1975, he published a slim volume titled Bio-Foto-Kulto-Grafie, which translated his feelings of that time into images.
