Product details
The Swiss architects Marco Graber and Thomas Pulver founded their joint office in 1992, with branches in Bern and Zurich. Since then, they have regularly won competitions and realized numerous buildings with international appeal, including the leopard enclosure at the Dählhölzli Zoo in Bern and the Rondo apartment building in Zurich-Oerlikon. Several large projects, such as the ethnographic museum in Geneva, are currently under construction or in planning. This publication focuses on the interplay between architectural creation and university teaching, reflecting the experiences Graber and Pulver gained during a two-year guest professorship at ETH Zurich. The methodology of their teaching and design research interacts with the work in their own office; in the design process, intellectual concepts and discussions of sensory aspects are to be integrated.
