The worldwide environmental pollution (daily emission of approx. 2 kg of pollutant per inhabitant of the earth) has led to dysmineralosis, i.e. a disturbance of the electrolyte balance, in the majority of people on our planet. This results in chronic diseases, psycho-nerval disorders, sleep disorders, weakening of the immune system, etc. The supply of conventional minerals cannot be effective because their 'places' in the organism are firmly occupied by pollutant ions. Consequently, they must be eliminated beforehand. This ability is provided by the SiO2-rich minerals natural clinoptilolite zeolite, bentonite and montmorillonite with adsorbent, ion exchange, molecular sieve, catalyst, bioregulator and antioxidant functions. The authors explain to the readers the effect of these biogenous primary minerals as healing and anti-ageing agents, as active ingredients that are important for the human body.
