Yoga for children is now used in many educational and clinical fields. One of the pioneers of children's yoga in Germany summarizes the scientific foundations of child yoga for the first time in this book. This scientific summary, which was initiated with a dissertation project at the University of Leipzig in 1994, has contributed to the establishment of children's yoga in institutions across Germany. This book primarily focuses on describing the mechanisms of action, scientifically determining indications and contraindications, and providing a scientifically grounded definition and methodology for yoga practice for children.
