Laurenz Berges, born in 1966, is a Düsseldorf-based photographer and the youngest master student of the Becher School, presenting a new series of his color photographs. In these images, he remains true to both his style and his subjects. He is interested in the details of abandoned apartments, cleared houses, and overgrown gardens, which he makes the focus of his poetic image composition. One might almost speak of a photographic Arte Povera.
