Andrea van der Straeten approaches her concepts as system interventions. A key term for many of her previous projects is "information." Which is true, which is a rumor or a fake? What information and meanings are inscribed in objects and their representations? How does communication about content work? How can these be deciphered? What words are used, what language is employed? The catalog accompanies the exhibition at the Landesgalerie Linz in collaboration with the Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain. In a sequence of rooms, works from different contexts of origin are intertwined. This creates a unique pathway through van der Straeten's previous work, without a retrospective claim.
