Is religious freedom being abused by Islam? In his book, Michael Többens addresses a very current issue for Europe. In the perception of the European population, Islam is becoming increasingly prominent. The concern is about the Islamization of Europe. The author examines several examples to what extent Islamic demands are being met. To this end, five countries of the European Union are compared, and the question is explored whether the human right to religious freedom is becoming a vehicle for an overstretched claim to the freedom of religious practice.
