Most people with dementia live in their home environment. Care primarily takes place there and is mainly provided by family members. These families are under significant psychological and physical pressure. However, they often do not recognize the burden they are under and know even less about the available support. This makes an assessment tool that makes these burdens visible and measurable all the more important. CarenapD provides exactly this. There is no other assessment that offers this kind of support. This book presents initial findings on the application of CarenapD in Germany. It is a milestone in the care and support of people with dementia and their families.
