This work provides a comprehensive overview of the pathology of the most important poultry diseases and serves as a reference for meat inspection. It thus covers two significant areas of veterinary education and practice. The reader is given an overview of all diseases relevant to commercial poultry and their meat hygiene assessment according to current legal regulations. The treatment of poultry diseases is not an individual animal treatment but always a herd treatment. Therefore, the focus is on the dissection and pathomorphological assessment of individual animals.
