The Offenbach chief detective Adi Hessberger was looking forward to a relaxed season with his OFC when a murderer, seemingly targeting referees, throws his work and private life into chaos. Together with his colleagues Rüdiger Salzmann and Sina Fröhlich, the SOKO team investigates around the Bieberer Berg area. It turns out that the perpetrator has a penchant for particularly unusual crime scenes. Initial clues suggest that he may come from the Offenbach fan scene. The chief detective and his attractive colleague realize that their mutual attraction grows stronger throughout the investigation. At the same time, they are under public pressure and in the sights of a brutal serial killer.
