Hans P. Schaad has written and illustrated numerous picture books. He passed away in 2002 in Eglisau. The translations into French, Italian, and Romansh were done by Yla M. von Dach with Daniel Guesnon, Matteo Terzaghi, and Jano Felice Pajarola.
