Nine short, didactically prepared everyday stories fill a significant gap in learning materials for Chinese. The illustrated texts are presented in Pinyin transcription and in Chinese characters. Additionally, there are vocabulary exercises with sample solutions, as well as a vocabulary list with the most important terms after each story. This publication is aimed at Chinese learners in Sinology, at adult education centers, and in vocational training who are gaining initial experience with Chinese texts. It is also well-suited for refreshing existing Chinese language skills.
