The two-volume self-study units represent modules of a learner grammar designed for use in higher education, professional settings, and secondary education level II. The books convey the complete basic Spanish grammar in an illustrative manner through easily understandable, essayistic texts. The goal is to develop unfamiliar morphological and syntactic structures, including individual study. This allows for a reduction in the burden of in-person classes, freeing up more time for communicative practice forms. Additionally, previously learned knowledge can be refreshed. Consequently, there is an emphasis on detailed and illustrative explanations, as well as a consciously essayistic presentation that addresses the typical problems faced by German learners. Basic concepts such as object, adjective, etc., are explained, and learning strategies are discussed. There is also a focus on largely contextualized accompanying materials.
