In advanced age, nearly one in three men faces prostate issues. Nevertheless, men often avoid seeking examination and treatment. This book aims to encourage them to engage with their pelvic health by educating them about the anatomy and function of the prostate. Common examination methods, as well as the benefits and risks of the most frequent treatment approaches, are explained. Particularly in recent years, osteopathy, which originated in America, has become increasingly recognized in Germany. Its holistic approach focuses on investigating the underlying causes rather than just treating symptoms. By alleviating blockages, tensions, and adhesions, and improving the mobility and elasticity of the affected tissue, blood circulation is stimulated, leading to better nourishment of the disturbed area. Osteopathy can be beneficial for mild to moderate complaints.
