Erik H. Erikson's theoretical contributions to development and socialization in childhood and adolescence are rightly still a mandatory part of the upper secondary curriculum in the subject of pedagogy, as documented in the content requirements for the Abitur in basic and advanced courses up to 2013. The present station-based learning allows for the exploration of this thematic complex in accordance with the Abitur-related requirements areas I-III, enabling students to work largely independently and in a clearly competency-oriented manner. The material has been didactically prepared in such a way that supportive guidance from the teacher remains possible. The intended increase in competence on the part of the learners can be gently managed, meaningfully assessed, and supplemented or corrected where necessary. The station-based learning is divided into a foundational part and a further section.
