The animals are thirsty, and there is a lack of water. However, the greedy crocodile lurks in the river and refuses to share. It demands a sacrifice to satisfy its hunger. The larger animals agree: the sacrifice must be a small one. The hare is to be caught, but it swiftly runs away and finds safety in a cave. While searching for the hare, the buffalo surprises the hungry lion, who then chases after the buffalo. The buffalo barely manages to escape - right into the cave where the hare is hiding. When the animals decide to work together to capture the lion, the lion has no choice but to flee. And where is the lion hiding? Even though the hare, the buffalo, and the lion must fear for their lives, a great reconciliation occurs in the end. Thanks to a clever idea from the hare, there is plenty of water for everyone. The Tanzanian artist John Kilaka tells this story at a fast pace.
