P.A.U.L. D. for community schools and secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg is based on the guidelines of the 2016 educational plan. The new teaching material covers all areas of the German subject, consistently enables a competency-oriented teaching approach, and promotes independent learning. P.A.U.L. D. offers: tasks with varying levels of difficulty to support differentiation and individual learning. Optional tasks for further work and deepening at the end of a learning sequence. The structure of the chapters follows learning modules: The teacher can select from the sub-chapters of the learning units based on the situation of their students. Promotion of cooperative and independent learning: Corresponding symbols indicate whether tasks are to be completed individually, with a partner, or in groups. There is also the option to use help cards during practice sessions.
