In few areas of law is the state legislature as active as in school law. Since the publication of the first edition of this commentary in October 2013, it has amended the school law seven times and revised or extensively overhauled several dozen regulations. The new commentary on Baden-Württemberg's school law addresses these sometimes significantly impactful and structurally relevant changes, such as the introduction of all-day primary schools, the first regulation of regional school development, the realignment of secondary schools, and the statutory establishment of inclusion in schools. Furthermore, the commentaries on the other regulations regarding the school law, the private school law, the teachers' service law, as well as the school conference regulations, conference regulations, grading regulations, school attendance regulations, and parent council regulations have been revised.
