It all starts like a typical assignment that teachers love to give: the class is to form project groups and then present their results. Julia is not excited at all, and the group she ends up in definitely wouldn't make it past the preliminary round in a casting. But then she, along with Paul and three other boys, forms the "Neighborhood Knights," who aim to make other people happy. Soon, the gang faces a huge challenge and finds themselves in great danger.

Through the thrilling plot, Antje Herden connects the themes of friendship, reputation within the class community, willingness to help, and courage to be different in a relaxed manner.
