Systematically strengthen problem-solving competence. The materials in the area of problem-solving and measurement allow for independent, creative engagement with problem-solving topics. They provide exercises for independently developing, deepening, consolidating, and applying fundamental problem-solving skills at three levels of difficulty. In addition to modeling, other general competencies such as problem-solving and reasoning are also promoted. The content-related competencies include, among other things, concepts of measurement, handling measurements, problem situations, data and frequencies, and probabilities.
