In the series "Time for History," we offer an alternative for the 5th/6th grade: either a double volume 5/6 or two individual volumes 5 and 6. Student volume 6 presents content in an age-appropriate manner, promotes self-organized learning, makes goals transparent, builds sustainable methodological competence, allows for differentiated approaches, changes perspectives, and offers self-assessments. The clear structure and ease of use are hallmarks of "Time for History." The series is divided into several units. Each unit begins with an introductory double page that presents the topic through images. The following introductory double page facilitates access to the unit with an important event or an interesting problem. At the end of this double page, students learn what they will explore and practice in the following pages. In the individual chapters of the units, the author texts are structured with subheadings.
