Children are born in a small village, attend the first grade together, and learn and develop in their own ways. Their life paths are shaped by their own decisions, but also by societal conditions and the fate of their homeland. Since 1961, Winfried and Barbara Junge have been following the life paths of the children in a school class in the Oderbruch region.
