Inclusion is increasingly understood as a societal task. In the inclusion process, transition management and networking are gaining importance for the implementation of inclusive structures. This book brings together insights from theory and practice regarding the initiation of participation processes and the decreasing risks of exclusion in school, extracurricular, and post-school transitions. The editors advocate for a moderate understanding of inclusion. They view school as an institution that should promote inclusion. In addition to focusing on educational and vocational transitions, a critical perspective on inclusive education is also adopted.
