The anthology addresses the connection between the objectives of school and extracurricular political education and the practice in these learning areas through ten contributions. These relationships are highlighted with significant examples and supported by qualitative research. Thus, practitioners of school and extracurricular political education not only receive inspiration for their work through teaching and seminar examples, but they are also encouraged by concrete examples to plan and evaluate their activities in classes and seminars. The content includes political didactic research, the relationship between hermeneutic political didactics and political instruction, judgment competence, as well as democratic-political education as a subject of university teacher training and concepts of political instruction.
