In recent years, an increase in voice and speech disorders has been observed in professional circles. At the same time, communication in both private and professional everyday life is becoming increasingly important and demanding. This issue affects not only individuals in singing and speaking professions but also other occupational groups that are existentially dependent on their voice, as their professional foundation and security rely on their persuasiveness in lectures, conversations, and presentations. The complexity of the voice and speech system, as well as the multifactorial genesis of voice and speech disorders, necessitates a holistic and whole-body approach. The Schlaffhorst-Andersen concept is a holistic and whole-body oriented approach designed to train and coach individuals in the use of their voice, speech, and breathing. Furthermore, it can be used for the prevention and therapy of disorders.
