Hannes Finkbeiner, born in 1977, grew up in a hotel business in the Black Forest. He initially trained as a restaurant specialist, later studied journalism, and has now perfectly combined both professions. As a freelance journalist, he regularly writes for the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung and Spiegel Online. He has published novels, cookbooks, and non-fiction books with the publishers Heyne, Lübbe, and Matthaes. The brothers Axel and Ralf Killian live in Oberrotweil near Freiburg. Since 1992, they have been working as freelance photographers in the fields of documentation, advertising, and editorial work. Axel Killian publishes garden picture books, calendars, and exhibition catalogs for museums in Freiburg. Ralf Killian photographs musician portraits and CD productions, among others for the label AVI-Music/SWR2.
