Two men, both married to the same woman, embark on a sailing trip together. Only one of them returns. A love triangle? A crime story, one might think, as Olof receives a visit from the police and shares his perspective: It’s about the last sailing trip with his friend Harald, whom he hadn’t seen for twenty years; about Elin, the woman who connected and separated both men; and finally about Harald’s disappearance. Olof’s confessions reveal that they both had motives to ruin each other - on the other hand, Harald’s days were numbered due to a serious illness, so why would Olof want to harm him? Moreover, Olof had won Elin for himself and lived with her until her death. However, a letter then comes to light that casts everything in a completely different light.
