A Nova front passes by the remote little planet Damiem, attracting a colorful crowd of visitors: researchers, tourists, seekers of healing, and a group of young porn stars with their agent, who wants to shoot a film in a spectacular setting. They all stay at the guesthouse run by three guardians assigned by the Federation to protect the planet's inhabitants. The Dameii are beings of ethereal beauty with a horrific past. The dark shadows of the past loom over the cheerful-erotic present, and the intentions of some visitors appear sinister. Soon, the masks will fall in this small forced community, violence will break out again, and themes of betrayal and murder, genuine and false heroism, guilt, and the urge for revenge, along with an all-encompassing love and longing for beauty, will intertwine in a grand narrative.
