This anthology brings together perspectives from gender studies on sexuality, power, and violence in educational contexts. The contributions demonstrate that sexuality, as a vital force and deeply personal intimacy, stands in contrast to the open handling of bodies in public and the pornification of everyday life. Epistemic, physical, and psychological violence related to sexuality is almost commonplace and does not spare educational institutions. Interdisciplinary practical and theoretical approaches provide impulses for sexual education prevention work, particularly with children and adolescents.
