The author examines which actions are considered harassment and investigates the consequences that arise from it. The aim of the paper is to highlight solutions that sensitize recipients to the dangers of supporting the topic and to critically assess the effectiveness of judicial sanctions.

Sexual harassment is often downplayed; women take comments or jokes far too seriously and are said to lack a sense of humor. However, there is more to this issue, as sexual harassment can have severe consequences that women experience daily. Due to such incidents, women no longer feel comfortable; they experience fear of being sexually harassed at work again. They can no longer perform their jobs properly or may even refuse to go to work. Harassed women fall into self-doubt and develop feelings of guilt. This issue should be taken seriously and acknowledged, as no woman deserves to be sexually harassed. The perpetrators are often completely unaware of the damage they cause. Measures must be taken to eliminate sexual harassment in the future.
