This book provides a current overview of the forms, frequency, and impacts of sexual violence experiences among adolescents: Who is affected by sexual violence? Who are the perpetrators? Where does sexual violence occur? The study presented offers teachers and other educational professionals answers to these and other questions - including perspectives from those directly affected, observers, and adolescents who perpetrate sexual violence. Particular attention is given to the school context: certain forms of sexual violence are especially prevalent here. At the same time, schools are where all adolescents come together, making them particularly suitable for prevention work. The book also outlines the fundamentals of the prevention approach SEPP - Sensitizing Prevention through Participation, derived from the findings.
