By chance, Senthil Vasuthevan and Valmira Surroi start a conversation on Facebook. He lives in Berlin as a PhD student in philosophy, while she studies art history in Marburg. For seven days, they share stories about their lives without meeting each other. Their messages touch on their families and their escape from war zones, their childhood in refugee shelters, and their school and university experiences.
