Fischer in a loose series with the same design, Christoph Ransmayr presents the "picture story" alongside previous works such as "Festive Speech," "Tirade," or "Interrogation," showcasing variants of equally enjoyable and multifaceted prose. This time, he narrates the transformation stories of seven individuals, connected solely by their fear of water, who one day find themselves as sea creatures in the deep sea, accompanied by the underwater photographs of Manfred Wakolbinger.
