The poet and illustrator Robert Gernhardt wrote and drew continuously in school notebooks from 1970 until his death in 2006. This resulted in the legendary "Brunnenhefte." From this treasure trove of his poetic ideas, Gernhardt initiated an extraordinary book project during his lifetime. Lexically organized, his literary miniatures fascinate with their unadulterated Gernhardt tone and bear witness to vibrant depth and clairvoyant humor.
