When Marcel Reich-Ranicki founded the 'Frankfurter Anthology' four decades ago, it was unclear how long this experiment would last. Even after forty years, the supply of German poetry is by no means exhausted. Nevertheless, it was time for an expansion. Thus, the 'Frankfurter Anthology', which has been managed by Hubert Spiegel since October 2014, now also focuses on poetry from around the world: In addition to German-language poems, foreign-language poetry has also been included since the last volume. The volumes of the 'Frankfurter Anthology' compile the poems and interpretations of a given year. To date, over 2,150 poems have been published.
