Product details

Asta Arnold has found herself stranded at Munich Airport after 22 years of service with international aid organizations. She has come from Nicaragua, where she last worked in a hospital but was bullied by her colleagues and forced into retirement. She never really wanted to return to Germany; her profession meant everything to her. She was almost addicted to helping others. However, as her mistakes piled up, she was given a one-way ticket. She should have gone back to Berlin, but the money collected by her colleagues only covered the flight to Munich. Now, she stands next to a revolving door in the airport terminal, feeling lost. Her suitcase didn't make it either, leaving her with no choice but to smoke the cheap cigarettes she bought at the duty-free shop and ponder: who could possibly need her, the discarded nurse?.
