At some point during a hunting trip with his daughter Laura and her endless questions: "When did you shoot your first buck?", or "How many foxes or wild boars have you taken?", and "Did you often go hunting with your dad, what was it like back then?" Fritz Holler had the idea to document his hunting experiences with a lot of passion and emotion. The reader senses that this hunter is not a killer, but rather a very witty, yet also responsible steward and caretaker of nature in the Bavarian Forest.
