Chinese Karate in the Dragon Style. Dschero Khan Chen Tao (adopted name Gerald Karel Meijers), born in 1928 in Mongolia as a scion of an ancient noble lineage and now living in the Netherlands, developed his own martial arts system called Shaolin Kempo based on his experiences with Chinese and Japanese martial arts. He trained with Chinese monks and maintained contacts with Japanese masters such as Gogen Yamaguchi (Goju Ryu) and Nakano Michiomi ("So Doshin"), the founder of Shorinji Kempo. For the first time in the history of Shaolin Kempo, all techniques up to the 1st master level are presented, including blocking techniques and forms that have only recently been incorporated into this style.
