The country house Sonnenhain in the southern Palatinate village of Rittersheim invites you to a crime dinner. Josefine Laux, who runs a small winery with her husband, and her friend, the bookseller Charlotte Messerschmidt, are having an argument. It concerns Moritz Wolff, an attractive and cultured acquaintance, who completely loses control that evening, shouting and pouring wine in his father's face. The next morning, the father is found dead. Poisoned. And his son is suspected of murder. Josefine and Charlotte cannot believe this. Together, they set out to uncover a dangerous truth that leads far back into the past.
