Product details

This alpine guide describes the mountains of the Silvretta from Klosters in the Prättigau to Samnaun and the Austrian Ischgl, the Unterengadin mountains from Susch to Martina, and the Münstertal mountains from the Ofen Pass to Müstair. Additionally, it covers the numerous hikes in the Swiss National Park. The area borders the Austrian regions of Vorarlberg and Tyrol, as well as the Italian regions of South Tyrol and Lombardy. What makes this area special is the unknown and untouched nature waiting to be discovered; remote destinations in wild nature. Information is provided for each of the over 327 mountain peaks, as well as for many passes and mountain accommodations. The 1008 route descriptions, many illustrated, are aimed at mountain hikers and climbers. More than 30 three-thousand-meter peaks have been highlighted for hikers. A geological introduction briefly presents the extraordinarily diverse mountain structure.
