Sebastián Díaz Morales, born in 1975 in the oil city of Comodoro Rivadavia in Patagonia, presents his book "Ficcionario," a title that merges the words dictionary and fiction, which serves as an autogenic sum of his work in images, texts, and participant reports. Since completing his studies at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam in 2001, the Argentine film artist has been invited to exhibitions by many prestigious European and American institutions and has participated in all major film or video festivals worldwide, as well as numerous biennials. He has deliberately chosen to open one of the chapters of the book with a quote from the Argentine national poet Jorge Luis Borges: "The spirit dreamed, the world was his dream." This particular perspective on reality, a blend of poetic narratives, exemplifies how people are capable of understanding the world.
