Many people affected by poverty and exclusion need partisan support to assert their social rights. This is where social counseling becomes necessary. It occurs as an independent field of social work or as a sub-task of many personal social services. The textbook presents the general foundations of the work and describes the essential aspects of social benefits law. Additionally, it provides guidance on procedures before authorities and courts, as well as methodological approaches. Through concrete case analyses, it becomes possible to examine and transfer foundational knowledge in the context of practice.
