The book "Solar Dynamics and its Effects on the Heliosphere and Earth" provides a comprehensive analysis of the interactions between solar activity and its effects on the heliosphere and Earth. It is based on findings from the ESA's SOHO and Cluster missions, which investigate different regions of our solar system. The authors, including Daniel Baker and Rudolf von Steiger, have compiled observations from various missions to enhance our understanding of the dynamic processes originating from the Sun. The structure of the book is divided into several sections that address different chains of events extending from the Sun to the Earth's magnetosphere and ionosphere. It covers both normal solar wind processes and the impacts of coronal mass ejections and high-energy solar particles. This work is the result of a workshop at the International Space Science Institute and offers an interdisciplinary exchange among experimenters, observers, and theorists.
