Birgül Demirtas, a witness of the Solingen arson attack, studied social education/social work and empowerment studies. Her focus is on racism criticism, right-wing and racist violence from the perspective of those affected, and anti-Muslim racism. Within the framework of Re_Struct (IDA-NRW), she published educational materials critical of racism for schools and extracurricular activities on the Solingen arson attack and writes on topics critical of racism, especially regarding the Solingen arson attack.

Adelheid Schmitz has a degree in social pedagogy and is a research assistant at the research focus on right-wing extremism/neo-Nazism and the Alter Schlachthof place of remembrance at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Her work focuses on racism-critical further training of multipliers and historical-political educational work.

Derya Gür-Seker (PD Dr. phil.), born in 1981, is a discourse and media linguist. She teaches and researches German linguistics at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her focus is on language in the (online) media, practices of inclusion and exclusion, and the language of right-wing populism. Her habilitation thesis deals with linguistic approaches from media text to social media in the context of right-wing extremism, right-wing populism, gender, and labor.

Çagri Kahveci (Dr. phil.), born in 1979, is a social scientist who taught sociology and was involved with Allmende e.V. His work focuses on critical migration research, racism/anti-racism, transnational mobility, and affect research.
