The title of the three lectures refers to Terézia Mora's statement that the text of the protagonist Flora from her novel "The Monstrous" (2013) is a "secret text," which is why she never reads it publicly. Aside from this little play, the texts that stand under and behind Mora's texts are certainly not secret. Her language shift is marked by the writing of her first collection of stories, "Strange Matter" (1999). In the lectures, she traces her path from one language to another and deals with the visible and invisible traces of Hungarian in her books, as well as the influences of other literary texts, because literature is made from other literature. In an impressive way, her text also conveys the transformation of life stories into literature.
