Noyeol, the man who imprisoned and raped Hyung, has written letters to him while in prison. These letters have now been published as a novel and have won literary awards. Contrary to all of Noa's advice, Hyung has read Noyeol's texts and has fallen into a deep emotional abyss. As Boguk and Sujo try to help him, they risk being swept away in his whirlpool of despair.
